Inflight Data eSIM for Tourists

Unlike ground plans, activation is automated. Before takeoff, ensure your WalletRoam eSIM is installed and "Data Roaming" is ON. Once the aircraft reaches cruising altitude and the crew announces that roaming is available, simply switch your mobile data source to your WalletRoam eSIM. The system will automatically identify the inflight network and activate your plan.

WalletRoam's inflight service is available on over 20 leading airlines and hundreds of specific aircraft equipped with inflight mobile connectivity.

WalletRoam uses AeroMobile and SITA inflight roaming technology, which works like a cellular network rather than a Wi-Fi hotspot. This means you don't have to deal with clunky login portals or credit card entries mid-flight; your phone simply treats the aircraft as a new "roaming" country and connects directly.

It’s completely automated. Just ensure you have credit in your WalletRoam before you board. As soon as you connect to the AeroMobile or SITA network in the air, your data usage will be deducted in real-time from your wallet balance. There is no need to manually purchase a fixed data pack before takeoff; your balance follows you from the ground to the sky.

Since you are using the PAYG wallet model, your credit is never "wasted" on a specific flight. If your particular aircraft ends up not being equipped with roaming technology, no data will be consumed, and your wallet balance remains untouched. You can simply use that same credit for your ground data upon arrival or on your next supported flight.
